Novak Djokovic teases Roger Federer’s Australian Open exit and makes Rafael Nadal demand

Novak Djokovic has hailed Stefanos Tsitsipas for knocking Roger Federer out of the Australian Open, now he wants the Greek to do the same to Rafael Nadal. “I mean, Roger and Stefanos played a great match,” Djokovic said. "I watched some part of it, and the quality of tennis was fantastic, I thought. It was a really great match to see and for them obviously to play, as well. Stefanos showed great maturity and ability to cope with pressure, you know, in those moments when obviously it's Roger and crowd and support and everything that is happening. Considering everything that he was going against, Tsitsipas did phenomenally well. For someone that is 20 years old, it's definitely very impressive.” Tsitsipas will face either Nadal or Frances Tiafoe in the semi-finals. Djokovic is hoping the NextGen star can pull off another upset if he comes up against Nadal in the next round. “I wish him all the best the rest of the tournament,” Djokovic added. “Roger also played well, but it was very - it was a very close match. One or two points have decided.”
