Novak Djokovic: “There are moments when I get frustrated on the court”

World No. 3 Novak Djokovic insists his passion and excitement for the game is still the same as when he started 15 years ago. “Of course, I have fun”, the Serb said. "There are moments when I get frustrated on the court, and obviously in the official matches, it's something else. It's kind of difficult to just be entertained all the time. You got to keep your focus and get the job done, and then try to enjoy off the court. “So, of course, the people pay attention more on what I do during the match than off court where I have much more fun.' Most men's players, when they go to serve they take three balls, reject one of them. How big a deal is it with the balls, and is part of it just a ritual or a superstition or a time killer? I don't think it's a time killer. “It's just some ritual that most of us guys have. Somebody looks for more fluffy balls. Somebody looks for more ball which is bald and new so you can have faster serve. You're just imagining things obviously. So yeah, I mean, you try to take your time, a little focus, and I look for a faster ball.' Djokovic also spoke about the ups and downs of a tennis player and person: 'The life circle, I guess, it goes up and down, you know, good and bad. “You can't expect to have always good days. You try your best changes day to day so you always try to maximize your abilities on a certain day. But of course, there are frustrations. There are things that just can get you nervous and can get you in the bad mood. “It's the everyday problems that everybody has. I'm no different. I just learned over the years how to manage them. And as I said, it's important always to have the right, honest people who love you and treat you well, who keep you grounded, and, you know, keep things in perspective always.” Source-TennisWorldusa.org
