Novak Djokovic father makes stunning Roger Federer claim after Wimbledon final

Novak Djokovic’s father doesn’t think Roger Federer has been the world’s best tennis player since 2009 and his son will overtake the tennis great’s Grand Slam record by 2020. Djokovic clinched his fifth Wimbledon title in the first All England Club final last week. Djokovic saved two match points in a 7-6(5), 1-6, 7-6(4), 4-6, 13-12(3) triumph against  Federer in the longest Wimbledon singles final in the history of the tournament that lasted for more than four hours. "In the last ten years, Novak is the world's best tennis player,” he told Sport Blic. “Before the start of this season, he had 22: 9 against Federer, and 20: 9 against Rafa when he was watching for the last 6-7 years. To remain to play for another year, all the recordings that he has not yet, he will be down. "One year ago there was 20:12 in the Grand Slam titles for Federer, now he is 20:16. We will talk again in a year.”
