"Not at all": Patrick Vieira makes admission on Newcastle United’s disallowed goal vs Crystal Palace

Patrick Vieira has made an admission on Newcastle United’s disallowed goal vs Crystal Palace on September 3.

Both sides met in Premier League's matchday six Saint James Park stadium, where played a goalless 90 minutes.

After the clash, the Eagles' manager claimed that the VAR was right to disallow Newcastles 51st minute goal after the referee Michael Salisbury agreed that Joe Willock had jumped into Guaita.

“Yes. After looking at the images after the game, I think that was the right decision from the referee.

“No, not at all. I’ve seen the images and I think if there is no Newcastle player, our goalkeeper will get the ball.

“That contact, of course, had a massive impact on the goal. That’s why I believe it was the right decision from the referee." stated the 46-year-old.
