"Nobody listened": Pundit claims he urged Liverpool to sign £30m Euro 2020 star

Chris Kirkland has revealed that he once told Liverpool to sign Everton and England star Jordan Pickford. The keeper has impressed with Three Lions and helped his country to reach the Euro 2020 final. “I told some of the Liverpool staff that Jordan was the best young keeper I had worked with. I told them he was going to be something special. But obviously nobody listened and he eventually ended up at Everton!” Kirkland told The Mirror. England are set to face Italy in the final of the European championship at Wembley tonight.
