'Nightmare' - Pundit reacts as injury expert predicts Liverpool star out until mid-December

Liverpool are facing a “nightmare” as Roberto Firmino is set to miss the next 6 weeks due to injury. Speaking to Football Insider, former Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish talked about the Reds' possible plans to replace Firmino. And Football Insider pundit, injury expert Ben Dinnery expects the striker to be out of action for six weeks.
“It’s a nightmare,” McLeish told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.   “You have to remember they are losing players to the AFCON as well.   “I have been there as a manager and it really depletes your options.   “That could be a massive blow for Liverpool. But does it mean they will go out and sign someone?   “I think the only way Liverpool sign someone is if they see someone who can come in and perform straight away.   “They won’t take any risks with a deal like that but they can’t afford to rely on someone who won’t perform.   “They will have to see how Firmino comes back but I don’t even think they can rely on him when Mane and Salah are gone.”
