Nicolas Hasler: "It's going to be a tough game against Finland"

Liechtenstein national team suffered a 3-0 defeat in Armenia, in their third qualifying round of EURO 2020. Gevorg Ghazaryan opened the score for Armenia, Aleksandr Karapetyan and Tigran Barseghyan made it 3-0. Liechtenstein and Sporting Kansas City attacking midfielder Nicolas Hasler in an exclusive interview with Vbetnews has spoken out on the game. "We expected that Armenia is going to be very good. They had a very good first half and we had a very bad one. I think the second half was a little bit better for us because we had two three chances. Armenia deserved to win 3-0," said Hasler. Three days later, on June 11, Liechtenstein will face Finland national team at Rheinpark Stadion. Markku Kanerva's side beat Bosnia & Herzegovina with the score 2-0. Hasler is looking forward to the game against Finns. "Of course, tactically we want to do better. I just heard the result that Finland beat Bosnia and Herzegovina and of course, I think it's going to be a tough game. We have to see what we did not so good in this game and try to play better, especially tactically," the 28-year-old said. Liechtenstein, Greece, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Finland, Armenia and Italy are in the same group in EURO 2020 qualifiers and Hasler thinks, that Italians are favourite to end the qualifying tournament in the first place. "Italy is the favourite. I tough that Bosnia and Herzegovina will be second, but this result is very impressive that Finland beat them. So it's gonna be interesting how the next games are going to be," concluded the player. Author-Alla Zakaryan
