Brazil player Neymar limped off after just 12 minutes of his side’s friendly with Nigeria in Singapore on Sunday.
The Paris Saint-Germain star pulled up with a hamstring complaint and was replaced by Philippe Coutinho.
The blow appears to be the latest in a series of injury issues for the 27-year-old.
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker isn’t with the Brazil squad having only just returned from injury, but the goalkeeper has backed Neymar to shine for whatever club he wants to play for, perhaps even claiming his longed-for Ballon d’Or.
“I think that Neymar can be the best in the world on any team,” he told Mundo Deportivo, via Goal.com. “Neymar is a high-level player and would be fundamental in any team in the world. If he returns to Barcelona or not… I wish him good luck and to play with his usual joy and energy, wherever he is.”
