Leeds United youngster Tyler Adams lead the USA side in the World Cup 2022 as he was named their captain. Adams has been an exceptional player for both club and country.
The 23-year-old joined the Whites in the summer of 2022 and has made overall 13 appearances.
The midfielder took part in all of USMNT's games in the World Cup as they reached the round of 16 and suffered a defeat to the Netherlands.
Brenden Aaronson was another addition to Leeds squad during the summer transfer window and along with Adams, he was also part of the USA's squad.
And following the conclusion of World Cup 2022, Adams has spoken out on the support of the Leeds fans.
"It was really, really cool," Adams told the YEP, when asked about the Whites support for him in Qatar.
"That support has been here since I arrived at the club which has been amazing to see – how much the fans appreciate myself and Brenden and a bunch of the new guys that have come onto the team.
"It's been such a pleasant surprise to have this support week in, week out. I expected them to be rooting for England, especially in the game that we played against England! But for the rest of the games it felt as though they were supporting us so it was very special."
