New club joins the line for Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey is set to leave the club as his contract will expire soon. A lot of clubs are lining up to sign the midfielder and Real Madrid is the new club to join the line, according to DailyStar. Ramsey will leave the Emirates either in January or next summer after the Gunners decided to withdraw their contract offer to the player. "Real Madrid have declared their interest in signing Aaron Ramsey for next season," football consultant Ian McGarry said on the latest episode of The Transfer Window podcast. "They recorded an interest in him before when initial contract negotiations with Arsenal came to nothing 18 months ago. "I was told on very, very good information that Madrid's administrators had contacted Ramsey's agents to say he had been highly recommended by friend and international team-mate Gareth Bale, as someone who could fit into their system. "We know he's a versatile player, he can play as a 6, an 8 a 10. And Real Madrid are looking for a long-term successor to the brilliant Luka Modric."
