Martin Odegaard has jokingly admitted that if Erling Haaland is moving to the Premier League, then he ‘needs to’ join Arsenal.
Borussia Dortmund star is having a decent season, scoring 25 goals in 27 matches in all competitions so far.
Several top clubs, such as Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in him.
However, reports claim the 21-year-old already agreed on a £500,000-a-week deal with Pep Guardiola’s side, making him the Premier League’s highest-paid player.
Speaking to Stadium Astro, (quoted by TBR Football), Odegaard told:
“He’s a funny guy, he’s a good guy and a good friend of mine. A great player of course.
“We will see what he will do, but if he’s coming to England he needs to come to us, of course.”
