"Nation’s biggest role model": Phil Foden claims one Manchester United player's work has been "proper inspirational" to him

Phil Foden has spoken high about Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford in his interview with i-D. Manchester City man thinks his England teammate has become the nation's biggest role model to young ones, while his charity work has been proper inspirational to him. “His work with kids, politics, all his work off the pitch is unbelievable, really. It’s been proper inspirational to me. The fact one footballer has been able to shift perceptions like that has been hugely inspiring for my generation of players…” Foden said. “We’re all looking up to him now, safe in the knowledge that we can also help the world in the same way. You could literally see his impact… I saw ‘Marcus Rashford’ spray painted on walls. He’s really become the nation’s biggest role model to young ones.”
