Nadal defeated Tsitsipas and became the fourth tennis player who win 80 single titles

Rafael Nadal defeated Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas  in the Masters in Toronto with score 6: 2, 7: 6 (7: 4). The match lasted 1 hour 43 minutes. Rafa realized 3 of 6 break-points, Tsitsipas - only 1 of 3. This title became for Nadal the 80th single trophy in his career. In the Open Era more titles have only Ivan Lendl (94), Roger Federer (98) and Jimmy Connors (109). For Rafa, the victory in Canada was the 33rd on Masters, which is also a record. Nadal is the first racket of the world.
