Nabil Fekir says he still dreams about playing in other league after failed Liverpool move

Lyon captain Nabil Fekir admits he still dreams about playing in other European league. France international was close to join Liverpool last summer, but failed medical tests and returned to Lyon. He then won World Cup with his national team in Russia and has impressed with his performances in Champions League group stage. Lyon will play against Barcelona in Round of 16. Despite the good results, Fekir says he definitely keeps in mind playing outside France in near future. He said (via LiverpoolECHO): "Discussions are ongoing. I have sat down with the president, things are advancing slowly. When will I take a decision? I am not fixing myself a date, I am not in a rush. Nobody is putting any pressure on it and I like to take my time. "I do not know (how long he will stay). Last year was supposed to be my last, and in the end I’m still here. I cannot know the answer to this. I am happy at Lyon, but which player doesn’t dream of discovering a new league, another club?" Fekir has also spoken out on rumors, that Chelsea have called him for a transfer. "They haven’t called me, but they can be watching my situation without calling me (laughs)."
