Nabil Fekir decision confirmed as Liverpool target looks to secure summer transfer

Nabil Fekir has been longed linked with a move to Liverpool but the transfer never happened. It has been reported that Fekir has split from his agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, as the Lyon captain looks to secure the summer transfer that has been denied last year. The agreement between the pair ended on April 17 and Bernes told radio station Europe 1 on Saturday that they have indeed parted ways. “I terminated the contract on [Thursday],” said Bernes. “It was a choice [Fekir] took. He will certainly look for another agent. “Like all human relationships, from time to time you can have a difference of opinion on someone’s future or their behaviour.” “To get into one of the top 10 clubs is very difficult, you must have an approach,” added Bernes. “You must not place too much importance on the role of an agent.
