Eintracht Frankfurt star Daichi Kamada has claimed the covid crisis blocked his transfer to Tottenham this summer.
Spurs were linked with the move for Japan international, weighing up a bid for the £26 million-rated man, however, the deal didn't materialise.
Speaking about his failed transfer to the North London club, the 25-year-old revealed the main reason.
“My agent held many talks,” Kamada told
BILD.
“But (securing a move) was difficult due to corona. Now, it’s clear I’m staying and I’m focusing 100 per cent on Eintracht.”
