Manchester City stance on Barcelona transfer swap for Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva

Manchester City have ignored potential swap deals for Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva. Earlier today it was reported that the club duo "would welcome" moving to Barcelona this summer.

João Cancelo and Bernardo Silva ‘would welcome changing’ #ManCity for Barcelona. There’s a ‘good harmony’ between Txiki Begiristain and Joan Laporta. Those close to Cancelo and Silva say joining Barcelona is a ‘real option’ this summer.

However, City have made a decision not to make any swap deals involving Cancelo and Silva.

#ManCity will not be making any swap deals with Barcelona involving Joao Cancelo/Bernardo Silva. @ManCity have ignored the more outrageous claims, and dismissed more damaging ones like a potential swap involving the above two.
