How much Liverpool fans might need to spend attending Champions League final

Lucas Moura scored a sensational second-half hat-trick as Tottenham overturned a three-goal deficit to qualify for their first Champions League final on away goals. Tottenham's triumph came just 24 hours after Liverpool's stirring comeback against Barcelona, as an all-English final was confirmed for only the second time in the competition's history. It will be the first time two English sides have contested the same Champions League final since Manchester United beat Chelsea on penalties in 2008. The final will take place at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on June 1. Liverpool fans have been given some worrying news regarding both tickets and travel arrangements on the day. It's been revealed that - despite the Wanda holding over 60,000 people - that Liverpool have been awarded an allocation of just 16,613 tickets. Admission prices range from £60 to £513, while some seats will cost fans as much as £410. UEFA have provided a maximum allocation of 100 adult/junior combined tickets, priced at £120 per pair. https://twitter.com/JamesPearceEcho/status/1126183748972810240 Liverpool Mayor Steve Rotherham wrote: "@easyJet hiking up prices by 683% for return flights to Madrid is quite simply profiteering from the passion of football fans. This is nothing new but entirely shameful." https://twitter.com/MetroMayorSteve/status/1126058962519040000 The budget airline were charging £750.49 for a flight to Madrid on May 31, while the return fare would cost £237.54 on the following Monday. That's almost £1,000 for a return flight which isn't long haul, meaning you could literally travel to Australia on those very same dates and it would cost you less. According to these facts, some Liverpool fans could be sending over £1,500 for their match ticket, travel and accommodation are beyond belief.
