Mourinho wants Tottenham signing in the summer

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Tottenham long-time target Sporting’s Bruno Fernandes in the summer and is not rushing anywhere, claim Portuguese Correio de Manha. The 25-year-old midfielder is set to sign a new deal with the club on Tuesday and according to Portuguese media the announcement could be imminent. His €100 million release clause and the 2023 expiration date are expected to remain the same. However, the renewal doesn’t necessarily mean he will stay at Sporting for such long time. A Bola claim that Jose Mourinho’s arrival to the north London club has a big influence on the process and the signing is to happen already in January. This opposes Correio de Manha’s reports claiming the Portuguese manager would want to have a signing in the summer.
