Mourinho confirms Tottenham will appeal Son Heung-min's ban

Jose Mourinho has revealed Tottenham will appeal Son Heung-min's three-match ban after the club's 2 - 0 loss to Chelsea. Son was shown a red card for kicking out at Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger in the 62nd-minute of the fixture. Speaking after the match, Mourinho said that "the Son situation was handled badly. The reaction from Son is not an aggression. Does Rudiger have broken ribs going to the hospital? Other people call it intelligent by Rudiger. We are killing the best league in the world" if that is a red card decision and said VAR official Paul Tierney had "got it wrong". Tottenham are sitting on the 7th place of the Premier League table. They will face their next Premier League rivals, Brighton, on Thursday.
