Why Mohamed Salah did not stay and celebrate Liverpool’s Champions League win over PSG

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been at the centre of a social media storm after footage emerged of him appearing to react angrily to Roberto Firmino’s injury-time winner-throwing a water bottle down at the ground. However, the clip was in fact edited to crop out Salah first throwing up his arms in jubilation and then throwing down the bottle in a gesture of relief. There where further claims that the Egyptian chose not to celebrate on the Anfield turf at the end. But in fact, the 26-year-old was selected for the drug testing procedure straight after the final whistle.
