Mo Salah has become one of the best players in the world since joining Liverpool from Roma in summer of 2017.
In his first season Egypt international has scored 32 goals in Premier League and broke record for goals in a single season in EPL.
Besides that, Salah helped Liverpool reach Champions League final.
Liverpool’s #11 is proving he was not a player of a single season by scoring 14 goals in this EPL campaign so far. Salah is leading the top scorer race with Harry Kane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
James Pearce from LiverpoolECHO has mentioned one important characteristics that Salah has in common with Luis Suarez.
Uruguay international was one of the best players in EPL history. He has impressed the world, playing for Liverpool before joining Barcelona in 2014.
Pearce says both players have enough mental qualities to avoid injuries.
Suarez has been injury free in 98 % of matches during his career, while Salah has been injury free in 97 % of matches.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, who has played with both stars, has also mentioned this important factor.
“Yeah, Mo’s the same,” Henderson said (via LiverpoolECHO).
“He’s got this very strong mentality. If they try to put pressure on him, they will only make him better. The more people are against him, the more he will want to prove them wrong.”
Salah’s recent goal from penalty helped Liverpool beat Brighton and keep leading in EPL with 4-point advantage over Manchester City.
Reds will face Crystal Palace this weekend.
