Mikel Arteta has suggested that Alexandre Lacazette can be “instrumental” for Arsenal this season.
The 30-year-old joined Gunners back in 2017 for a reported £46.5million, and endured a time full of ups and downs.
Lacazette is yet to start a single game in the Premier League this term, but Arsenal boss Arteta believes the Frenchman still has a big role to play at the club and is confident he’ll be back to his best soon.
When asked whether he’s planning for a team without Lacazette, Arteta replied:
“No, he’s fully involved.
“You gave the reasons why he hasn’t played more minutes.
“He will be back to the form that he can achieve. I’m sure that he will be instrumental in our success.”
Arsenal are set to face Burnley on Saturday at the Turf Moor.
