Mikel Arteta says player was going to start vs Molde, but now he's got injured

Mikel Arteta has revealed Reiss Nelson would have started for Arsenal last night, but he has picked up an injury. Gunners have celebrated a 4 - 1 victory over their Europa League rivals, Molde, while Nelson was not included in the starting squad following his impressive display versus Dundalk last week. And Arteta said the attacker was left out of the team because of his injury, and that he will be given more playing chances in the future. “You see the numbers of how much young players of how much football they played when I joined,” the Spanish boss told Football London. “Eddie was on loan and is now playing, Bukayo wasn’t playing, the same with Joe. Reiss is injured otherwise he would have played tonight. “The good thing is that they’re young players and they have to earn the right to play and they are doing that.”
