Mikel Arteta reveals Arsenal star is working 'tremendously hard' after last season struggles

Mikel Arteta has praised Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after his performance against Tottenham this past weekend. Aubameyang marked his name on the scoresheet in a 3-1 north London derby against Spurs. Gunners boss Arteta has spoken highly of the striker, and has said that the former Borussia Dortmund star is working very hard for the team. He said as quoted in Football.London:

“I’m really happy with the performance today, the performance against Burnley and what he is doing.   “When he is getting criticised and we ask him to do more he stood by it. He puts his head down and is working tremendously hard for the team. Now I can tell you he’s really leading the team.”
