Mikel Arteta reveals Arsenal man is 'disappointed' with situation

Mikel Arteta has spoken up about Bernd Leno saying he's disappointed about not being Arsenal's first-choice goalkeeper. Since arriving at the Emirates, Leno has been the unchangable No. 1 keeper, but after conceding 9 goals in 3 appearances, Arteta felt the need of some changes. Aaron Ramsdale, who was signed during this summer transfer window, is currently impressing with his brilliance as he's now the club's number one. Speaking to Arseblog the Gunners' boss has referred to the German and his current situation.
“What we have experienced with Bernd over the last three years, first as a person, I didn’t have any doubts[about his attitude]," said the Spaniard.
Arteta claimed, the 29-year-old needs to 'raise his levels' in order to regain his spot.
“Obviously, he’s disappointed and he should be disappointed because he wants to play and he’s used to playing. At the same time, what he needs to do is raise his level and he’s going to raise Aaron’s level [in doing that].   “If Aaron is performing really well, a big part of that is because Bernd is next to him, trying to help him and support him in training and make him a great goalkeeper and this is what we want.”
