Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Thomas Partey ahead of Liverpool

Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on the Arsenal duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Thoams Partey ahead of the Liverpool match. Gunners are set to face the Premier League rivals on Saturday, while ahead of the clash, the Spanish boss has met the media. Aubameyang was ruled out of Gabon's clash against Egypt on Tuesday, and fans were worried about his fitness and availability to play against the Reds. "Let’s see how everybody is. We have to see them today before assessing and seeing how everybody is," Arteta said about the attacker during the press conference. Partey was out of action and decided not to travel for international duty with Ghana due to a groin injury. Speaking about the defender's fitness, Arteta added: "He couldn’t play for the national team. He really tried to do that and pushed for that one but wasn’t enough. Again that’s something we have to assess because until today he hasn’t done enough."
