Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe ahead of Liverpool match

Arsenal are preparing to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday, April 3, as the international break is over. Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta has provided injury updates on Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe. Saka was ruled out of England's World Cup qualifying games and has been training on his own at London Colney. Meanwhile, Smith Rowe suffered a hip injury while being on international duty with England U21. "There's still a lot [of players] that we haven't seen yet," said Arteta in his press conference ahead of the Liverpool game. "We will see them this afternoon, assess the squad tomorrow and make some decisions. "He [Saka] hasn't trained with the team yet. He's been doing some individual work. We had to pull him out of the [England] squad. He's feeling better but hasn't trained with the team yet." "He has some discomfort in his hip," said Arteta said on Smith Rowe. "That's why they decided to keep him out. We will see today, he will speak with the doctors and with the physios and see if he's okay for training tomorrow."   source - football.london / Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
