Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Bukayo Saka after Newcastle game

Arsenal celebrated a 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon. The first-half was goalless, however, already in the second-half Bukayo Saka opened the scoring. Just ten minutes later Gabriel Martinelli doubled the Gunners’ lead assisted by Takehiro Tomiyasu. However, during the game Saka suffered an injury and was forced off being replaced by Martinelli. After the win head coach Mikel Arteta provided injury update on the youngster. He said:

"Yeah, it was an action where he said he felt something. He wasn't comfortable to continue and we'll have to assess him tomorrow and probably scan him to see if there's any injury there.   "He felt something muscular and let's see what it is."
