Mikel Arteta has just hinted he could unleash a new signing for Arsenal on Saturday

Mikel Arteta has hinted that Nuno Tavares could make his Arsenal debut on Saturday. It was reported that the 21-year-old defender is likely to take part in the club's pre-season games during their tour of Scotland. Tavares was out of action in Arsenal's 2 - 1 defeat to Hibernian on Tuesday, however, he could have a chance to make his debut on Saturday, when Arteta's side face Rangers at Ibrox. “He [Nuno] didn’t have all the paperwork necessary to be involved but hopefully that will be all ready to go and hopefully he can have a debut on Saturday against Rangers,” Arteta has told Arsenal’s official website. The Gunners have secured the £8m transfer of Tavares last weekend.
