Mikel Arteta gives injury update on Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Gabriel Martinelli following their 2-0 FA Cup 3rd round win over Newcastle on Saturday. Martinelli was in line to start, however, he appeared to twist his foot awkwardly during the warm-up ahead of the FA Cup clash. "I am gutted," said the Arsenal boss. "I was in my office before the game and one of the medical staff came in and said he twisted his ankle. He was in tears and in a lot of pain. "We're going to see how he is but he didn't look good. He was in pain. He's a character that he wants to play the next game, hopefully it's not too serious."
