Mikel Arteta angry as Arsenal lost to Manchester City

Manchester City beat Arsenal on Saturday with the score of 1-0, as Raheem Sterling netted the only goal of the match. Arsenal had a strong penalty claim turned down on the stroke of half-time as Kyle Walker wasn't penalised for a high boot in the area. Speaking about the VAR decision, Arteta said: "Well, that has to be checked [by VAR]. They said that they checked, and I asked 'How the hell have you checked if you took two seconds to check that action?!’ "Obviously there is something there. I just asked the ref to check it back and I don't think he did so I'm disappointed with that. "I think we had to defend deep and they were getting a lot of players close to the box without creating much. It's upsetting to see our team so deep. "We could have created more in the final third, the final pass or cross. We could have added something else. Listen, to get a win here everything has to go your way."
