Tottenham youngsater has already made his senior debut for the Republic of Ireland during Thursday’s 3-1 friendly with New Zealand.
The 17-year-old forward was at the starting lineup and got substituted during second half following his assist to Sean Maguire for the second goal.
After the game Parrott was greatly hailed by the Ireland head coach Mick McCarthy:
"He can handle himself at this level, I don't doubt that," McCarthy said.
"He was tracking back and he tackled their centre-half and he got all upset (Reid). I know he's been out, so you don't want him to get injured - but well done, that's what it's about. Welcome to men's football, because then he was getting a little bit bullied by him. But he stood up to it, and he's done fine."
The youngster has already made his senior debut at Tottenham starting in the Carabao Cup loss to Colchester United.
