Michael Owen states his prediction for Leeds United v Liverpool

Michael Owen has given his prediction on Monday’s Premier League clash between Liverpool and Leeds United. The Reds are currently sitting in 6th place in England's top competition and will be looking to celebrate another win in order to improve their position on the list. Meanwhile, the Whites are 10th on the league table. Speaking about the upcoming clash, Owen has backed Jurgen Klopp’s side to beat the rivals with a score of 2 – 1.  "Matchday one seems long ago now, however, it sure did set the tone for Leeds’ season when they went down fighting in a 4-3 win for Liverpool," the pundit said. "Fresh from victory at the Etihad, belief will be sky-high within the Elland Road ranks. One positive for them is that Liverpool have played midweek in Europe, as that definitely worked in their favour in their victory at City. "That said, there has been a bit of an improvement in Liverpool’s recent performances, especially on the road domestically.
