Michael Owen makes prediction for Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Lille

Former Liverpool player Michael Owen has made his prediction for Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Lille. Chelsea take on Lille on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge and it will be their last game in the Champions League group stage. To continue their run, Frank Lampard’s side need to beat Lille. While they will go through if they draw and Valencia loses to Ajax. Owen predicts, Lampard will not have an easy test against the French side. “A win will ensure Chelsea’s place in the last 16 against a Lille side who have won their last three league games 1-0 although they have only picked up a single point in their five previous group games in the competition,” said Owen (via dailypost). “The Blues won the reverse fixture 2-1 in France on Matchday 2 and Lille are without a win in their last seven away games in European competition. Chelsea continue to struggle to keep clean sheets – just three in 12 home games in all competitions this season – and Lille can play their part in what promises to be a terrific occasion at Stamford Bridge.” Source- DailyPost
