Michael Owen makes Champions League prediction on Borussia Dortmund v Manchester City

Michael Owen has given his prediction for the Champions League clash between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City. The Citizens have beaten 2 – 1 the rivals in the first leg of the quarter-final, while they will be looking to win tonight in order to secure their place in the next stage of the European top tier. And speaking about the upcoming clash, Owen has backed Pep Guardiola’s side to beat the German club with a score of 2 – 1. It could mean they will continue their run. "Dortmund gave City a real game at the Etihad last week, but in the end, it was Phil Foden who made the difference with an injury-time goal," the pundit said. "Following up with a defeat at home to Leeds at the weekend, it clearly took a lot out of the City players. "Saturday’s performance was unlike the soon-to-be English champions, but it is possible they had one eye on this match and complacency crept in. "The Citizens are desperate to add the Champions League to their ever-growing list of trophies, and if they are at the top of their game, I can only see one winner."
