Michael Owen makes Champions League prediction on Atalanta vs Liverpool

Liverpool are set to face their next Champions League rivals Atalanta on Tuesday night. Reds will be without injured defensive pair Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho, while a late decision is yet to be made on Joel Matip’s involvement. However, despite the injury problems, pundit Michael Owen believes Jurgen Klopp's side will secure a 2-1 win over the Serie A side. "Atalanta have been a joy to watch so far this season!" he said. "They are a dangerous outfit, and with Liverpool’s frailties at the back just now, the Italians will fancy themselves to cause some problems. "Despite conceding goals, Liverpool are finding a way to win at the moment. That’s the mark of champions, and I think whilst Atalanta will be a huge test, I fancy the Reds to come out on top."
