Champions League 2019/20 season kicks-off today, September 17, with the number of exciting games including Liverpool's clash with Napoli, as well as Chelsea vs Valencia and Barcelona vs Borussia Dortmund.
Ahead of the start of the new UCL campaign, former Liverpool forward Michael Owen has revealed his predictions of the games.
"The sides met in the group stages last season and Napoli ran out deserved winners in Italy despite the fact that the only goal of the game came in the 90 minute," said Owen. (via

"The Reds have improved again in the last 12 months, however, and I expect the holders to gain a narrow, but significant, victory in Naples in what promises to be a tight, close affair."
Later Owen said that he backs Chelsea to win the game against Valencia, which he expects to be high-scoring one.
"The Reds have improved again in the last 12 months, however, and I expect the holders to gain a narrow, but significant, victory in Naples in what promises to be a tight, close affair," concluded Owen.
