Michael Owen explains what has shocked him about 'unbelievable' 28-year-old Tottenham player

Michael Owen says Son Heung-min’s goal record with his weaker foot has surprised him. The South Korean scored his 100th goal for the North London side on Saturday. The 28-year-old scored Tottenham’s second in a 3-0 win over Leeds United as Jose Mourinho’s men got back to winning ways. Son took just 253 matches to reach triple figures, netting his 15th of the season in just 24 games – also boasting eight assists from this campaign. “Shows he is an all-round player [41 with his left],” Owen said. “Only four with his head, normal in this day and age. I was interested in the amount he has scored with his left foot, quite two-footed. “He’s an unbelievable player, one of the best in the world. It’s great to watch his improvement. At the start, he was a good player – but year on year, you can see that improvement.”
