Michael Owen in doubt over Harry Kane's return amid fears he will miss England's Euro 2020

Michael Owen has casted doubt over Harry Kane's return date from injury and believes he could miss Euro 2020. Owen was synonymous with injuries throughout his career and has explained that he suffered a similar issue to the Tottenham striker and that the reports claiming he will return in April are quite unlikely. Spurs talisman has been sidelined until April after rupturing a tendon in his left hamstring in the 1-0 defeat against Southampton on New Year’s Day. Speaking on Robbie Savage's Premier League Breakfast on BBC Radio 5 Live former Liverpool striker said: "I'm really nervous about saying what he's (Harry Kane) got and comparing my injury to his. It is dangerous because I don't exactly know. I've read that he's ruptured his hamstring at the tendon. "Now, that is exactly what I did. If that's the case, there is no chance he will be back in April. I took six months and I felt awful coming back. It always felt like it was going to snap on me again.  "Once I got back, it was brilliant. It wasn't like a muscle injury where you're constantly feeling it and it wont rob you of pace."
