Mesut Ozil sets new record in Premier League history by overtaking Jurgen Klinsmann

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has set a Premier League record with his first-half strike against Leicester City overtaking Tottenham Hotspur legend Jurgen Klinsmann. Ozil, who was handed the captain’s armband, dragged his side into the match with a fine goal just minutes before the half-time whistle was blown. The German netted his 30^th Premier League goal to become the outright leading goalscorer in English top flight. Ozil also has 50 Premier League assists to his name since joining from Real Madrid back in 2013.
