Mesut Ozil sends defiant message ahead of Arsenal's clash with BATE Borisov

Mesut Ozil is fit and raring to go ahead of Thursday night's Europa League clash against BATE Borisov. He uploaded a picture of himself and his team-mates in training alongside the caption: "We are Arsenal ."

Arsenal boss Unai Emery said that Mesut Ozil is the only person responsible for gaining his place back in the Arsenal team. “The key is in his hands. He is working very well this week,” Emery told Wednesday’s press conference prior to the game. “I ask him in our conversation for consistency, to be available for us for training, when you can train consistently you can help us with your best performance in the games. This week has been good for all the players. I am looking at him doing the training as we want. He needs to be available consistently for training, without the injuries, without the sickness.”
