Mesut Ozil created more chances than any other player at World Cup 2018 so far

Arsenal midfielder and Germany national team player Mesut Ozil has come under fire following Germany’s World Cup exit. Many German supporters blamed Ozil and even had a clash with him after their 2-0 defeat to South Korea which saw Germany to be ruled out of World Cup 2018. However, not many could notice that Ozil was the only player, who created seven chances against South Korea - all from open play; the most by any player in a single game at the 2018 World Cup so far. It means that Ozil is the most underrated and criticized player.
