Unai Emery’s side managed to complete a second-half comeback to see off their bitter rival Tottenham at the Emirates.
Mesut Ozil, who missed the match due to back spasm has praised his teammates after the 4-2 win against Tottenham.
"When Sead Kolasinac pulls out the Emirates corner flag then you know something big has happened. "Proud of the whole team. North London is red!’
It seemed a little bit strange that Unai Emery refused to comment on Ozil’s absence shortly after Arsenal’s victory. Asked if he could have played, Emery replied: "He has back ache. ‘This is a good day to speak about players who played,’ responded when asked if he told Ozil he wasn’t going to feature at the Emirates.
"After the first goal we conceded, we had a moment when we were down, but at half-time we were still confident. We knew we could still do it,’ he said. "In the second half we always play very well. We don’t give up – that’s the mentality."
