Messi, Kane, Ronaldo: Top 10 Goalscorers in European Top 5 Leagues

The 2020/21 football season is about to end with only a few matches remaining. In some top European leagues the winners have already been revealed: Bayern Munich in Bundesliga, Manchester City in the Premier League and Inter Milan in Serie A. In La Liga and Ligue 1 the winners are yet to be decided. So as we're nearing to the season finale, let's take a look at who the best goalscorers are in the top five European leagues, according to Transfermarkt.

10 Thomas Muller

The Bundesliga giants have won the league title for the ninth time in a row and Muller, obviously had a huge input in that. The 31-year-old has made 31 appearances for Bayern this season, during what he managed to score 11 goals and provided 21 assists. Hansi Flick's side still have two games to play in the Bundesliga: against SC Freiburg on May 15 and Augsburg on May 22.

9 Cristiano Ronaldo

Besides that, Juve currently sit 5th in the league standings with 72 points and might fail to qualify for the Champions League next season. However, that didn't prevent Ronaldo from doing what he likes the most- scoring goals. This season the 36-year-old netted 29 times in his 33 Serie A games.

8 Luis Muriel

The Serie A side are currently second in the league standings with 75 points and share that place with AC Milan. Atalanta still have three games to play this season: against Genoa, May 15 and Milan, May 23.

7 Romelu Lukaku

The Belgian striker has been shining for Antonio Conte's side once again this season and helped them win the Serie A title for the first time in 11 years.

6 Erling Haaland

The young striker has managed to score 25 goals in his 27 games in Bundesliga, having attracted plenty of interest from the big-name clubs. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are all interested signing Haaland, with his agent Mino Raiola very keen on finding a new club for his client. That will happen should Dortmund fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, with currently being fourth in the Bundesliga standings with 58 points. Dortmund still have two games in their hand: against Mainz on May 16 and Leverkusen, May 22.

5 Kylian Mbappe

Mauricio Pochettino's side are currently second in the league table with 76 points, just 3 points less that leaders Lille. PSG still have two games in the hand: against Reims, May 16 and Brest, May 23.

4 Andre Silva
