Messi blocked Liverpool midfielder move

Barcelona striker Lionel Messi prevented Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho’s move to the Spain side, Don Balon informs.

According to the source, The 30-year-old did not want his teammates Ivan Rakitic or Sergi Roberto to depart to Liverpool as part of the deal. This said the Argentinian is ready to allow Arda Turan, Andre Gomes or Paco Alcacer to leave Camp Nou, however, they could not have been included in the transfer contract.
