Mercedes have set a deadline for Lewis Hamilton to sign a new deal. The car manufacturer has announced the launch date for their new car. Mercedes' Twitter page confirmed that their new F1 W12 car would be unveiled on March 2. Valtteri Bottas is already confirmed but despite ongoing negotiations. Meanwhile, seven-time world champion Hamilton is yet to sign a multi-year deal. The March 2 date gives the 36-year-old exactly a month to sign a new contract. While the 2021 F1 season is set to get underway with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 28.
