MEN: How final Premier League table could look if season cancelled and potential Ligue 1 model followed

The Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons will not resume after France halted all sporting events, including behind closed doors, until September. Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said the 2019-20 sporting season was over as he announced plans to ease France's coronavirus lockdown on 11 May. It is not yet known whether Ligue de Football Professional (LFP) will choose to drop the season with no promotion or relegation and no champions or base the outcome of the campaign on current standings. French clubs are set to vote on a set of three options which will decide the final standings in each of the top two leagues. One of those options is to take the mid-point table, based on each club's first game against one another, while the other options include a points ratio and taking the standings from game 27, the least amount of games currently played by every club. So, what if the Premier League was to take the same actions as France, and what if teams voted to go with the mid-point table option? Source: MEN
