"Maybe he's trying to force a move" - Pundit has a say on Tottenham player

Former England defender Danny Mills believes Danny Rose could be trying to force a move away from Tottenham under Jose Mourinho. The 29-year-old left-back has previously confirmed that he intends to see out his contract, which expires at the end of next season, and has also said that he has yet to have a conversation with Mourinho over his future. "My contract is up in 18 months' time and I'll leave the football club then," said Rose. Speaking to Football Insider Mills has shared his thoughts on Rose: “I think we’ve seen in the past, taking Mourinho on is not a very good idea in any way shape or form," he said. “If you’re a second-choice left-back at the moment, not in great form, coming back from injury, running your contract down, it’s not going to go well for you, simple as that.  “Maybe he’s trying to force a move out early, maybe he’s looking at it thinking I’m surplus to requirements, Mourinho doesn’t really fancy me as the left-back and therefore I’ll try to force a move elsewhere. And I’ll try to make it look like it’s Mourinho’s fault, rather than my own.” Danny Rose has featured once for Spurs in the Premier League under Mourinho and twice in the Champions League.
