Max Verstappen’s Red Bull exit clause revealed as he considers shock move

Max Verstappen could leave Red Bull if Formula One team failed to give him the tools to fight for victories. According to Marca, Verstappen has a performance clause in his current contract that allows him to speak to rival teams once the drivers head off for the annual summer break. Should Verstappen fail to win a race after the Hungarian Grand Prix, then the 21-year-old will be able to discuss terms with rival teams. The Dutchman has long been considered as a world champion in waiting. Mercedes and Ferrari will certainly keep an eye on this development.
